One year of living my dream.🤍

I quit my full-time job one year ago to stay home with William. I didn’t know what it would look like or what I would do to supplement our income, but I knew it was what God had asked me to do.

I applied to 20+ part-time jobs with no luck, so stepping away from a job with benefits was a huge step of faith. A little over a month later, I started my business, and we haven’t looked back since.

Has this been the most difficult season of my life? Yes.

Have I worked longer and harder than I did working a full-time job? Yes.

Do I go to bed exhausted most days from running a daycare, household, and business from home? YES.

But has it been the most precious thing ever and would I do it over a million times if given the choice? YES YES YES.

I’m so thankful for a husband who believed in me enough to take the risk. I’m thankful for a business like @emilygreenvirtualassistant & my clients who have allowed me to support my family during nap times & family care. And I am most thankful for a GOD who knows our heart’s desires and will ALWAYS provide for what He’s called us to.

Here’s to another year of building the family, business, and life we want.🤍

Our family is growing!🤍 Baby Green #2 coming in February. We are so grateful for this blessing!🤍

In addition to that, we are moving back home to Alabama.🥳

I have been pretty quiet on social media the last few months because 1) first trimester kicked my tail🤣 and 2) I knew so many changes were coming soon, and I wanted to take this time to be intentional about how to serve you.🤍

In the upcoming weeks as we transition, I will be taking this time to focus on my monthly clients and ensure that I give them top-tier service and priority access.

As we get settled in Alabama, I will begin sharing some new products and resources that I have been working on to help you stay clear, consistent, and confident online, and I will begin opening my calendar for additional monthly clients & VIP Days!

Having a strategy doesn’t make you less dependent on God.‼️

Sometimes I think we assume “trusting God with it” means we shouldn’t make a plan.

But throughout Scripture, we see people who prayed and prepared.

They sought wisdom.
They stewarded what God had entrusted to them.
They took practical and faith-filled steps.

I believe the same is true in business.

If God has given you a mission, it’s worth communicating clearly. 📢

If He’s entrusted people to your business, they’re worth serving consistently.

And if He’s opened doors for your business to grow, it’s okay to build systems that support that growth.

That’s why I care so much about helping Christian business owners stay clear, consistent, and confident online.

When your website, social media, and email follow a plan, your message becomes easier to understand, your audience knows how to take the next step, and you have more freedom to focus on the work God has actually called you to do.

I’ve been thinking about this lately. ⤵️

What does it actually mean to be a “faith-based” business?

I don’t believe a business becomes “faith-based” simply because it’s owned by a Christian.

To me, it’s about intentionality.

It’s choosing to let your faith shape the way you lead, communicate, serve your clients, and steward the gifts God has given you.

That doesn’t mean every post has to include a Bible verse or every product can only serve Christians.

It simply means your business is another place where you seek to glorify God.

As someone who works with Christian business owners frequently, I love seeing the different ways people live this out.🤍

Some are very vocal about their faith. Others reflect Christ through excellence, honesty, generosity, and compassion.

Neither approach is more “Christian” than the other. It just depends on your business, audience, and how you believe God has asked you to serve others.

To the Christian business owner who needed this reminder today:

I see you.🤍

I see the big vision God has placed on your heart.

I see the moments of excitement, when everything feels possible.

And I see the moments of doubt, when you’re wondering if you’re qualified, if you’re doing enough, or if anyone even notices the work you’re putting in.

Building a business while trying to honor God is a special kind of journey.

It requires faith when the results aren’t immediate.
Stewardship when the opportunities feel overwhelming.
And trust when the next step isn’t completely clear.

If you’ve been battling comparison, perfectionism, self-doubt, or simply feeling stretched too thin, you’re not alone.

Keep showing up.
