I still don’t think I’ve fully processed that I can say, “I played a festival.”

Getting to share my original songs, speak boldly about what God has done in my life, and point people to Jesus in a space that wasn’t a church is something I never imagined I’d be brave enough to do.

Getting to do it alongside my dad and brother made it even more special!

For a long time, I was scared to share my story. I didn’t think I had a testimony that was big enough or interesting enough for people to care about. But God has been teaching me that my story was never meant to be about me. It’s about what HE has done, what HE is still doing, and what HE might want to do in someone else’s life through it.

To get to sing songs that came from some of the most uncertain seasons of my life and maybe give someone else a reason to pause, think, or look toward Jesus was something I was terrified to do but am so glad I did!

We had such a good time and are so thankful for the opportunity to play at the Bandshell Bash! by @emilyhinkle_

The band

What a blessing it has been to spend the summer leading worship and ministering to students with this group of people!

Not only are they incredible musicians, but they are the most humble, kind, and loving individuals I’ve ever met.

They have taught me that worship is something to take seriously, yet it can still be filled with so much joy. They’ve shown me that when we truly love God, that love naturally overflows into the way we love others. And they’ve reminded me that being a faithful servant may look different every day, but it all starts with a heart that is willing to serve Him.

Special shoutout @nathanielejuarez @kate_maupin @leishabergey for joining us! Us and the students were so blessed by you!

Thank you @ownhorton_ @maleea.tamerius @elijah_p_stephenson @jace.swindell for being the best band, worship leaders, and friends, anyone could ever ask for! by @emilyhinkle_
