It’s been 18 years since God allowed our paths to cross in Romania and joined our hearts through ministry, Roma children and adoption. Our time working with Roma kiddos in orphanages and villages was a large reason we were drawn to Eastern Europe and Bulgaria when God opened the doors to adoption.

It’s a blessing to see how God is continuing to use my friend to serve, train foster/adoptive parents and be the hands and feet of Jesus with children from hard places. Your visit was such a gift. by @emilyilayne

Almost 18 years ago was the beginning of the end of any semblance of privacy, major dance parties, ultimate sing offs in the car with killer harmonies, being fully immersed in whatever stage of life the girls were in, full house, full car, too much driving, being surrounded a kid on all sides, always in direct physical contact (we have zero personal space), always talking, lots of yelling (low key, we’re loud), tons of laughing, nothing is off-limits topic wise, no regularly closed doors, sitting together downstairs in a pile rather than in bedrooms, I could go on.

I was walking away from the game on Friday with a girl on each side, right up against me, even though we were all hot, nobody cared and it struck me those days aren’t ending but they are going to become less often.

We had a duo with the girls for a long time and then we became a trio with tiny Boti and things got even louder and more crazy fun! I need a 3 is better than 2 song!

So girls, deal with my photo obsession, random crying, dragging you every where with me, attacking you every night before bed and don’t talk over each other bc I NEED to hear it ALL. The frequency of all this may change over the years, but I’m pretty sure even when I’m 80, I’ll still be attacking you if you’re at my house or when I’m at yours! 😍 by @emilyilayne
