Just a small-town girl chasing big dreams ✨

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So I got fired 😭😭 from Walmart 4 days ago, and that's not even the worst part. After working a 10-hour shift on my feet, I walked out to the parking lot to find police waiting behind my car.

My manager had called them because I finally stood up for myself and demanded the unpaid overtime I'd been noticing on my paychecks for months. They seriously tried to intimidate me just so they wouldn't have to pay me what I earned... little did he realize I knew my rights.

That's when I realized the whole "we're here to help" vibe isn't always what it seems. Behind a huge company can be a lot of pressure on employees to hit numbers and keep costs down.

So since Walmart supposedly turned my life upside down, I'm done keeping quiet.

Here's everything I wish customers actually knew about Walmart:

1️⃣ NEVER assume every returned item is untouched. I've seen returns come back looking "barely used," and employees were expected to inspect the packaging and condition before putting certain items back out.

2️⃣ We were constantly pushed to promote certain products, warranties, and add-ons. Sometimes it felt less about what the customer actually needed and more about hitting the numbers.

3️⃣ They gatekeep this hard — but you can get a $750 Walmart gift card just for reviewing products at
claimreward.online Me and two girls from my old shift have been using it for groceries and essentials since we got let go 👀

4️⃣ We were watched constantly. Sales numbers, add-ons, memberships, customer interactions... everything felt like it was being tracked.

Walmart didn't just fire me. It made me realize how much customers never see behind the scenes.

So I'm done keeping quiet.

Comment "Walmart" and I'll make Part 2 where I expose what my manager would make us push on customers... it might get taken down but I don't care anymore. by @emilyjohn0970
