Hiii it’s me, Emily!! 🥰

Lately, I’ve been working my butt off to build my career as a mother agent—and today, I want to break down something a lot of people are curious about:

💰 How money flows in the talent world!

If you’re thinking about becoming a model or talent, here’s a quick look at how the profit is usually shared:

✨ Let’s say your rate as a new face model is $100/hour, and a booking agency gets you a 4-hour job. That makes the total job amount $400.

✨ The booking agency takes 20% ($80) as their commission, and from that, they pay a portion to the mother agent.

✨ Your final paycheck is $320.

A common misunderstanding: some people think having both a mother agent and a booking agency means your cut will be much smaller—but that’s not true. You still get your full rate (minus the agency commission), and the agencies work together behind the scenes to support your career!

It’s only been a few months since I stepped into this industry, and I’m loving every second of it. So grateful for everyone I’ve met on this journey—let’s keep building and creating win-win projects together! 💫💼
