They say who you choose to marry is the most important decision aside from accepting Jesus. You pray for a man with great character and the true fires of affliction truly reveal who they are…Jake your character shines through the way that you have been steady, steadfast, loving and holding both me and your daughter Elizabeth even until she took her last breath on Earthside as she transitioned much quicker than we wanted into her eternal home and you continue to love us both and all those around you every day since. You are an incredible human and I’m so blessed to be married to you. I am so glad you were born on this day! For those of you that are waiting on your husband, the man that God has for you is absolutely worth the wait! 😭❤️join us in wishing him birthday and showing him how loved he is!! by @emilymacleodwolfe

One of the most precious moments with our daughter Elizabeth Lilyanne. Little did we know it was the night before she went to heaven🥹🕊️🫶💗God did so many miracles but one of them was getting to have our family near and my sister in law @yourautumnrose fly in all the way from Montana❤️ and our dear friends @meghanzilmer and @bigbenzilm drive 14 hours literally through the night all the way from Minnesota to be with us and Meghan did the most beautiful photoshoot of her glowing in the sunshine. It truly felt so holy! And boy, she absolutely loved the sunshine. 🤍🥹 And now she’s forever in His SONshine healed and whole! This is the video of the dress she went to heaven in gifted for us from the hospital from the Angel Gown Foundation made of a wedding dress moments after she went into Jesus’ arms. 🕊️🥹🤍 Jake shared at her memorial that he didn’t get to walk down the aisle like he wanted to as her father one day but realized he carried her to Jesus in her wedding dress 😭❤️ Losing someone oh so precious that you fought so hard for and believed for hurts so very much more than words can express. There’s layers of disappointment when it doesn’t turn out you hoped and exactly how you prayed for. Yet He fulfilled all His promises to my daughter Elizabeth (and that’s what her name even means) and our prayers for her healing and the miracle still came even though it certainly looks different than what we hoped for earthside. And He is meeting us in the sorrow and in the pain of heartache and His kindness down to every last detail and the love and prayers and acts of kindness of our friends and family are carrying us through and we’re truly so grateful for those lightening our load. ❤️We will always tell her beautiful story and pray that we all never ever forget the mark she made on all of our hearts - our treasure in heaven making heaven feel oh so so much closer!💗 And so thankful to Jesus paying the most costly price for us to be reunited with her & the promise that the brokenness of this world will be gone forever! Isaiah 65:20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days.” Thank you so so much for this forever gift!! @meghanswansonphotography❤️ by @emilymacleodwolfe
