Happy Earth Day 🌎 💙
Thank you to the Fashion Institute of Technology for having me at the Sustainability Summit. Honored to be in conversation with designer Kozaburo Akasaka, moderated by CFDA’s SVP of Sustainability and Program Strategies, Sara Kozlowski—two people I greatly respect. We came into the industry from different sides, but shared perspectives on how sustainability has evolved, from what it looked like years ago to what we’re seeing today.

Seoul is always so inspiring and such a special place to visit 💜
Last month I accompanied our CFDA x Genesis finalists @bad_binch_tongtong, @kimshuistudio , and @allina.liu on their immersion trip. It was such a meaningful experience to learn more about them, understand their vision, and spend time together in one of my favorite cities. Today I spoke at City Hall on behalf of the CFDA to advocate for the NYC Garment District ❤️ Over 80 people testified in person + more via zoom about the MSMX Rezoning Plan. Thank you to those who supported! This was first for me and definitely a pinch me moment. by @emilyn.ee

I completed my longest run today - 13.1 miles at the Brooklyn Half Marathon! ✅🎉 My training started last October and at the time I was only able to power walk 1.5 miles. I still don’t enjoy running, but I’m glad I reached my goals: completing the race at a slow and steady pace, and doing something good for my health along the way.

Thank you to Daniel, my 3 brothers, and sister in law Alex for your encouragement, training tips, and for joining me on this journey. 🙏

My dad and I didn’t have long conversations—we mostly talked about everyday things like what to order on Amazon or Costco. But over these past few weeks, I’ve learned so much more about his life—how he was a chess champion in the Philippines, a brilliant trauma surgeon who saved countless lives, and how deeply he loved me and my brothers. He inspires me every day to live big and be the best at what I love. Miss you, Dad. You will always be in my ❤️ by @emilyn.ee
