Today I became an official student alumna, and the only thing I can think of to say is BUT GOD!

I just want to thank God, first, for the resilience and perseverance bestowed upon me. This whole college experience has taught me the true meaning of “let go and let God”. I truly don’t know where I would be without him in the center of my life - for I know that He is guiding me through all the challenges and joys of my journey.

To my parents, thank you for your support, guidance, and unwavering love through it all. From the ugly cries to the motivation pep talks before exams, I thank you. To my grandparents, thank you for all of your prayers from behind the scenes. To my MaDear, thank you for always answering when things got rough and all we could do was pray. To my aunts, uncles, and cousins, thank you for always being my biggest cheerleader. And last but certainly not least, I want to thank my friends for all of the affirmations, support, and encouragement when I needed it the most. I’m so blessed to have y’all in my life.

This is only the beginning♥️ by @emilynash__

Special attention from God that can make what man considers impossible, possible.

I am proud to say that on May 18th, I will be graduating from the esteemed Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology.
