This song dives into the complicated feeling of loving someone so much, but it’s killing you to stay. Letting go of who you thought they were, the life you thought you’d share together… it’s both devastating and also a monumental celebration of self worth.

This song is for those who are willing to go the extra mile for the people they love. I believe firmly in the “having a village requires being a villager” which means sometimes you have to do the hard thing to show up for your community. Being in relationships requires compromise and often requires you to put your ego aside. That’s not a bad thing, it’s beautiful and a necessary part of growth and connection.

However, sometimes it’s better for BOTH of you to let them go if they want to leave. Even if you think you can help them. Even if you love them to the ends of the earth. Sometimes love isn’t enough. And frankly, that fucking sucks. But what an opportunity to remind yourself what your love is worth to the right people. by @emilynschultz

First Australian tour is complete and here are some thoughts 🇦🇺 Aussies and people who have been to Aus, wdyt??

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our first run down under! Extra special thank you to @craftmusicagency , @baselinemusic , @vanguardnewtown , @theblackbearlodge , @northcotesocialclub , @coondoo_mountain_campout , @sublimefarmandbrewery and @itsfinojet for everything you all did to make this happen.

We’ve got three sold out shows in Canada to finish the tour. Next up is Lanalou’s in Vancouver this Thursday ☀️
