POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It only took three years but we finally made it to a competition!! 🏆

We entered the 70-80cm class twice to build our confidence and despite a very polite stop in the first round where the rider forgot she had legs he jumped two super rounds, with no dramas and no 'Bean' antics! 🩶

So proud of him for keeping his cool, not getting stressed and he actually looked like he quite enjoyed himself! To top it off he got his first frilly for 10th!! (Not much or impressive for some but for us it's everything as he was happy and relaxed) 🎠

Thank you to @nostressequine for running a super chill show @shellymooresequine for all the bts to get us to a show and to @jonye14 for taking us! 🥰

Bean jumping amazingly at Wellington yesterday with @shellymooresequine 🔥

An anxious jockey made for some very questionable riding but managed to pull it together to jump round the course at the end thankfully Bean was a saint and stepped up to help us out until I sorted myself out 🤩😳

Thank you @shellymooresequine for squeezing us in at the end of a very long camp day! 🥰

Another day another session with my Jekyll and Hyde of a pony 😈😇🤦‍♀️

Not sure what had upset him or why he got his knickers in a twist but Bean had a massive meltdown in our clinic on Sunday which resulted in some very uncharacteristic behaviour that we haven't experienced in a while 🥺

So we made the decision to stop him, put him in a time out to chill and calm down before we started again from scratch once everyone had finished their session and left the arena. Very thankful we did stop and listen because immediately his entire demeanour and attitude changed just goes to show that stripping it back to basics and going back to a trot and pop never hurts anybody and can make all the difference to the end result. 🎉🥳

Thank you @shellymooresequine for staying behind so that we could finish on a positive note and helping us work through a pony meltdown❤️

Bean in our clinic with @shellymooresequine at April Farm. 🕺🏻🪩

I think he was practising his best bouncy ball impression accompanied with a new impressive trick of kicking out over the fence... thankfully he didn't decapitate any fillers 🤭 🐓

Couldn't fault his behaviour with it being his first group session and he didn't disgrace himself to get us sent to the naughty corner (which has happened before!!). 😈

Thank you @shellymooresequine 🩶

Emily & Bean 🤍

A duo I have had the pleasure of photographing at @shellymooresequine clinics!

One thing I love about attending the clinics is that I get to see the progression within each partnership develop over time. It also allows me to create a more personal work relationship with clients, making the whole experience relaxed and pretty chill for everyone!

The next clinic I will be at is 26th at Tweseldown - see you there 😁

Bean in the clear round at Merrist Wood yesterday evening!! 🤸🏻‍♀️

The first round, 70-80 started off spooky and wobbly but he improved as the course went on to jump a clear and did a much improved round in the 80-90 albeit got a little bit cocky and needed a few circles put in but nevertheless jumped another clear!! 🏎️

Massive thank you to @shellymooresequine for coming along to support and help, @danihounsham.sj for the moral support and @jonye14 for taking us and providing the snacks (and of course Dani's dad for the entertainment!!) 🤭

Time to get planning for the next outing 🤞🏻🩶

A very excited and happy Bean today XC schooling at Tweseldown!! 🚀

We took the day off work to pop over and have a quiet school round and despite some rather defensive and rusty riding from me Bean jumped fab albeit with some exuberant moves where he got slightly overstimulated and couldn't quiet contain himself but we can't fault his enthusiasm!! 😎

Thank you @shellymooresequine for helping channel the beast ❤️

Hero also went along to April Farm on Sunday but even with a pre ride nebulise he was still really struggling with his breathing and coughing so we elected to stop early, there's always another day!

Hoping we can get it under control at some point and work out what triggers it as he really is struggling periodically. 😢 Hopefully a new regimen of medications will help knock it on the head! ❤️

Thank you @shellymooresequine and my support crew @jonye14 @danihounsham.sj

Still not over how well Bean jumped at last weekend's clinic at April Farm 🔥

We went with no expectation, booked a whole hour so that we could settle him at the venue, do our in hand work and our normal long warm up with the view to see how he felt as to whether we jumped or not.

Bean was the calmest, relaxed and happiest we've ever seen him jumping and it means so much to all of us that we have finally got him to a point where he can relax and enjoy his work rather than being stressed and overstimulated.

We couldn't fault him all session, he jumped everything in front of him even when he was a little unsure and was controllable in a snaffle... something we never thought would happen!! We finished the session on such a high and with a tear in my eye 🥹

Thank you @shellymooresequine @tonyawillingham for getting us to this point and to my mum @jonye14 ❤️

Bean down a mini grid today, nothing too big or taxing but instead working on strengthening him up behind.

He's feeling fantastic at the moment, happy and chilled is his motto and I'm loving it!!! Dare I say we start to plan and dream of a proper outing?!

Thank you as ever @shellymooresequine for the fantastic lesson.
