Controversial opinion incoming : The Bamboo Forest isn’t absolutely mind blowing, and it’s very overcrowded.

However, this is a completely free activity and it’s within walking distance from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, so there is enough reason for you to make a visit to the Bamboo Forest 🤍

📍 Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵

Name me a more picturesque temple… I’ll wait 😍

Based in northern Kyoto, the golden pavilion is the definition of zen. This is a UNESCO world heritage site, and it’s 100% worth your time.

Like most temples, there is a fee to enter, but add this to your Japan list 🫶🏻

📍 Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵

1 year later I’m finally posting some Japan recommendations.
This was a bucket list temple for me to visit in Japan, it’s unlike anything else you’ll ever visit in the world.

A must visit, for a peaceful and authentic Japanese experience

This is in the Arashiyama district of Kyoto, which if you’re visiting you should make a full day of it.

Our day with the pigs 🐷❤️
We took a private trip to pig island with trip guru Thailand 🇹🇭

Our day consisted of, a couple of hours with the pigs, snorkelling, and a gorgeous lunch.

Pig island was absolutely amazing so I think that it would be my Number one recommendation to do in Koh Samui 🐷🇹🇭

Koh Samui 📍

One of the best #freeactivities to do in Thailand is visiting the temples.
The majority of temples here are free to visit with an optional donation.
Koh Samui has the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem - two amazing sites that attract thousands of tourists because of their beauty.
It is hot climbing the steps of the Buddha - be warned 😳❤️🔥🔥

Koh Phi Phi Islands ⚓️🏝️

Whilst we were in Phuket, we explored the Phi Phi Islands, and they were gorgeous.
We visited Bamboo Island, Koh Phi Phi Leh and Maya Bay.

The water was gorgeous and the views insane 😍🇹🇭

One of the best days of my life 🌊 ⚓️⚓️🤿

We did a snorkel trip with @daytripbali , with our tour guides Gio and Tim we explored Nusa Penida.

Swimming with the manta rays was the most surreal experience, I loved it so much.
