POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

ten before the end ✨

is it ambitious? maybe… but here are 10 books on my tbr that I really want to try and read before the year is out!

currently reading when the moon hatched, about 40% in and loving it so that should be an easy tick!! 🐉

a mix of some fantasy, some thriller because it’s spooky season and some favourite authors, Beth O’Leary and Sally Rooney 🙌🏻 (also maybe I’ll finish the magnolia parks series at some point since this last one has been on my shelf foreverrr…)

are any of these on your ten before the end and which should I prioritise ??

mental health check in

while some people love this time of year I can literally feel my serotonin levels drop when the sun disappears, the cold, dark, wet weather does absolutely nothing for me, I’m like a plant, I need the sun

so if you see posts/stories appearing and disappearing it’s probably me living in my own head, overthinking and being a paranoid percy, if I take a while to reply to messages, I’m probably trying to summon the mental capacity to think of a response

hope my other summer lovers are doing okay and you autumn lot are loving the change of weather

onwards and upwards 🧘‍♀️ taken in BOOKSTA by @emilyschapters

threshing day 🐉

so now we’ve had the chance to read threshing day what are our thoughts??? I thought it was the perfect little bonus book, loved every chapter!!

wasn’t sure what to expect at first but i absolutely loved being back at basgiath and back with some of my favourite characters, also… Liam🥺💔

won’t say anything more for those who haven’t read the books, but this little novella definitely played on my emotions, Sloane, Ridoc, Imogen….

felt so wholesome, also u think this might be the most stunning book I’ve ever owned!

(side note if you saw me post this yesterday no you didn’t, the quality looked like it was taken on a potato💀🥔)

whose chapter was your favourite??

if it’s gone 5pm this is where you’ll find me… 📖

nothing better than finishing work and curling up on the sofa with a cuppa, a snack and a good book, or in my case two because I always need a couple of books on the go heheh, daggermouth on the kindle and starting hidden pictures because it’s spooky season now it only seems right to pick up a thriller, anyone else??

hope everyones monday wasn’t too mondayish..✨

5000(!) book besties 🥹🫶🏻

I don’t often like doing these kind of posts as they make me anxious but I just wanted to express how grateful I am to have met so many beautiful people through this silly little account!!

Without turning this into a sob story as someone who went through school 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 lonely and anxious I genuinely cannot fathom the amount of friends I have made through this account!

BASICALLY you’re all the best and I’m eternally grateful 🤍

(Little Emily wouldn’t believe it if you told her back then😭)

September wrap up ft honeymoon dump 📚🇬🇷🤍

okay so September has officially been the best month ever (minus the month we said I do)

had the best honeymoon in Kos and read some absolutely incredible books!!!

the DCC series is just phenomenal and I cannot recommend it enough to literally anyone, the humour is too good.

Addie LaRue has become one of my favourite books ever, just incredible writing, great big beautiful life had me sobbing on the sunbed… and also thought it would be wrong not to read a Greek mythology retelling whilst in Greece no?

finally, threshing day, this was a little gem of a book, loveddddd it and loved being back in the Empyrean universe 🥹🐉

what was your favourite book you read in September? ✨

thought I’d share a last, now, next….honeymoon edition 🌊✨

gotten through a few good books on honeymoon so far, great big beautiful life hit me right in the feels and was the perfect holiday read, the third instalment of DCC was so good (as expected), I’m still obsessed with Donut 👑

currently reading Atalanta because I’m in Greece so it only feels right and thoroughly enjoying it 🏝️🇬🇷

now two thirds through Atalanta and then starting the knight and the moth because I have SERIOUS fomo from seeing everyone read the knave and the moon and I’ve not even read the first yet 🫣

what’s your current read and have you read any of these???

(we’re gonna ignore the windswept flat hat hair)
