Today, influential Leeds four-piece ¡Forward, Russia! release their 20th anniversary limited edition vinyl of their much-admired debut album, Give Me a Wall.

Available on vinyl for the first time since initial release, the package is a limited edition clear 12” with new lyric sheet & sleeve notes from Steve Lamacq.

Reuniting in 2027 to play 4 headline shows in London, Glasgow & Leeds to celebrate in Feb 2027, also available is a new rarities collection “A Fearless Guide to Communication”, with tracks reappearing on streaming over September/October. by @eminorthrecords

our self-titled album ‘walt disco’ is out now everywhere on @eminorthrecords

at this point it feels like we’ve almost said everything about this album that we can, now it’s time for you to make up your own minds. it no longer belongs to us, it belongs to everyone who hears it and we are so excited and relieved to pass it over.

we feel it’s our best. we wrote these songs at a time where we felt nobody was asking us to or was waiting for us to. but we loved them so much that we knew we had to make it happen.

this album wrestles with a lot of uncertainty, the kind that almost made us decide to abandon our name altogether. but it also shows us picking each other up and coming out the other side. this album could only have been made by walt disco.

thank you to EMI North for taking a punt on us, and never expecting us to be anything but ourselves. thank you to our manager, Hamish @bounsemgmt, for fighting for us every single day.
thank you to our producer @msn_ellie for realising this album with us by lending her impeccable taste and guidance. thank you to our engineers @jake.staineraudio and @jackson.________ of Salvation Studios for their expertise and friendship.
thank you to @born_slippery, our creative director, for helping us show it to the world.
there are many others that contributed to this record, you can now pick up a copy and open it up to read all about them.
