Happy Foster Care Awareness Month💙
(link in my bio for full video)

For the majority of my life I was in the foster care system due to my parents alcohol & crack addiction. I bounced from many different foster & group homes until the age of 17. Upon graduating high school, I earned a full ride academic scholarship to Cal State Fullerton, where I graduated Cum Laude & received 2 bachelor degrees. A dream of mine has always been to make an impact in children’s lives that grew up similar to my siblings & I. Throughout the month of May, I will be raising money for a scholarship I’ve created that will be awarded to a youth at a group home that I once lived in. I will be posting videos of current & former foster youths experiences in order to mitigate the stigmas associated with being a foster youth. Ultimately, my goal is to educate people about the foster care system, In hopes of encouraging folks to think twice & to give youth in the system a loving and safe forever home 🏠💙. by @emizzleee
