One of my (and the internet’s!) favorite scenes of my art in the wild EVER.

Captured by a lovely collector who brilliantly styled these 4 bold paintings in a chic, cozy neutral space.

Pro tip!… If you like a more neutral minimal vibe in your home, but want a pop of color, don’t be scared! It actually works SO well.

In fact, you might be surprised to know my house is all white walls and pine furniture. Not what you might expect from a color-hungry artist.

But I loooove filling my walls with playful art, mid-century color field prints and vibrant tie-dye inspired photographs.

These originals are sold, but the curated ‘Bright Place’ print set is available in multiple sizes on my site (link in bio! Shop prints)

I have such a Pavlovian response to certain colors. You may have heard me reminisce on why I call this red “Cherry Ice”…

It’s based on a vivid memory of chasing down the water ice truck outside Philadelphia when I was little and the burst of artificially dyed cherry flavor when I finally caught up to it.

I’m also one of those crazy people who has always loved eating lemons like they’re oranges. And I love any color that has that same tart, refreshing, bold feeling.

Where do you land on biting into a lemon? Yea or nay

A pop of warm sunshine on this 83 degree October day - One thing about the northeast is we WILL complain when it’s too nice out and all we want to do is wear our cute sweaters 🫠

The only math problem I ever liked and could kind of? do - that one in elementary school where you have 5 shirts and 5 pants and figure out how many combinations you can create - but make it COLORS

+ Loops because they’re so fun to make

Some things I made over the weekend… some for the heck of it, some maybe for part of future collections? There’s nothing like a nor’easter and a cup of tea to bring so much hand-making energy out. by @emksnyder
