Such a successful, fun, and educational weekend at Maryland International at @loch_moy_farm with Newman adding another 2* under his belt! He showed improvement in so many areas in the show jumping and dressage, and we spent some extra time on cross country building up confidence in the water and it payed off with a happy and confident horse through the finish flags. Thanks always to @anna.loschiavo.eventing for her commitment and coaching, for my dad @natearmstrong.6 for making the trip with me, and my entire cheer squad! Onto the next🙌 taken in Loch Moy Farm by @emma.armstrong.eventing

So proud to have a newly minted Intermediate horse after a great run around Rocking Horse last week!! Newman came out cool and confident and made the past year of putting all the building blocks in the right place so worth it! Big thanks to @anna.loschiavo.eventing for sticking out all the highs and lows with us and making this past weekend possible!🙌 taken in Rocking Horse Stables by @emma.armstrong.eventing

So proud of Newmans effort this past weekend at @terranova_eq in the 2*L! He finished the weekend bold and strong in the show jumping after running a really quick and confident cross country on Saturday. I’m kicking myself for a rider miscommunication mid course resulting in a runout, but we were both able to shake it off and it was smooth sailing from there on out! Endlessly thankful to my family who are the best grooms, videographers, and support, and our whole @anna.loschiavo.eventing crew near and far who made it all come together. And thanks to Newman for being the best partner a girl could ever ask for❤️ by @emma.armstrong.eventing

Not the end we wanted to see for our week at Bromont but very proud of Newman for his personal best dressage score at the 2* level, and his efforts over a majority of the tough track on Saturday. Thankful to be bringing home a fit and happy horse to fight another day. Thanks to my family and the support crew at @anna.loschiavo.eventing and congrats to my girls @aeleventing and @lymanord.eventing on their epic finishes in the U25 2* division! taken in Parc Équestre Olympique Bromont by @emma.armstrong.eventing

Super fun and educational weekend at Plantation Field International @plantationfield in the 2* with Newman, bringing home 4th place in the U25 division! We put in a respectable test in the dressage and a quick and clear run around the cross country, finishing off with a confident round in the show jumping with some things to brush up on at home. Overall super thrilled with having a third 2* completion under our belt and looking forward to the rest of our Fall season! Thanks again to the whole team at @anna.loschiavo.eventing for the support and coaching, and my parents for making the trip out to see me and making this all possible! taken in Plantation Field Horse Trials by @emma.armstrong.eventing

Newman and I had a great time this past week at the 2024 Regional EA21 clinic in Virginia. I’m extremely grateful for this opportunity and excited to bring home and apply all this new knowledge to the rest of our summer season and training. Endless thanks to @morvenparkeq for hosting at their amazing facility in Leesburg, to Shannon Lilley @teamlilley.eventing for the coaching and help, and to @useventing for making this all possible! Seems a bit unreal that we’ve made it this far and been chosen to ride in a clinic like this, and it makes me feel so lucky and appreciative for the journey I’ve had with this horse. Thanks always to our support system back home, my parents, and coach Anna Loschiavo @anna.loschiavo.eventing for preparing us so well! by @emma.armstrong.eventing

Great last day at Terra Nova in the 2* for Newman and I, he cruised around the cross country course clear and inside the time to secure a 15th place finish in a competitive division. So lucky and thankful for the amazing team we have that have helped us get here!! #goshroomgo #annaloschiavoeventing taken in TerraNova Equestrian Center by @emma.armstrong.eventing

The 2023 season has officially come to a close after a great weekend at The Event at TerraNova in Newman and I’s first 2*L! Lots to work on in each aspect of our performance but our hard work definitely showed and getting this far makes me appreciate how far we’ve both come. I wouldn’t want the ride on any other horse and I’m looking forward to next year and all the adventures it will bring! For now Newman is enjoying a well deserved vacation in Florida❤️ #annaloschiavoeventing taken in TerraNova Equestrian Center by @emma.armstrong.eventing

Newman continued to impress this past weekend at Rocking Horse in the Prelim setting down a solid dressage test and two double clear jump rounds with some added time on cross country. So happy with how we’ve been building him up and it proves that all the training we’ve been doing at home is paying off! Thanks to @anna.loschiavo.eventing for being my biggest cheerleader and great coach, @aeleventing for the constant moral support and help on the ground, and Dave for videos!! Couldn’t do it without this team❤️#ALE #usea by @emma.armstrong.eventing
