2 years ago, my life was changed because I went to a retreat. Now, I have been able to be a part of that experience for other people. I have served on 3 SEARCH retreats and I am beyond thankful! SEARCH 158 has been the best one yet! I’m forever grateful to everyone involved and all of my teams in the past, they have all helped shaped me into who I am today. I truly love you all. Last summer I attended Search 154 and my life was changed. While I still struggle to be like Christ, he has planted a seed and surrounded me by amazing God-fearing friends. This is my second time on team and I’m so blessed to have another amazing group. I’m honored and blessed that I could be your IT leader and be apart of your journey. I’m so proud of each and every one of you. 157 will always have a place in my heart. July 9, 2025 is a day we will always remember. It was the day one of God’s biggest blessings in my life, was taken. Words can’t even begin to describe the love I have for you. I will never forget your hilarious jokes, or all the times you listened to me rant about Ms. MacLemore. I will never forget you coming to our table everyday at lunch to laugh and tell stories. I will never forget the times we drove you home and you made us laugh the whole drive back to Benton. I will never forget your silly dance moves. I will never forget you pulling me out of my homeroom to give me a tour on my first day at Mount. I will never forget how comfortable you made me feel, and washing down all the fear I had that day. I will never forget you telling me how amazing my experiences with Jesus were when no one else bothered. I will never forget you. I have peace though, because I know you a reading this from Heaven. I know you are sitting right next to Jesus, making even Him laugh. And I know you are watching over each of us. I love you forever and ever, sweet Alexia. by @emma.baka.3
