Long time no bind!

This gradient series has been on the works for like 2 years now and it's finally DONE! I love the Cut and Run series - Ty and Zane are such complicated characters and I love their journey, which is why I chose a black to white gradient.

And yes.... it bothers me immensely that one of the books has different colored pages 🙃 by @emma.binds.things

This bind has finally reached the hands of @bothmalfoysplease as part of the writers appreciation fest! First and foremost, thank you Evy for being SO patient with me as I worked on this! It was so much fun to collaborate with you. Thank you for providing this gift to the community 💜

This bind features faux leather with a cutout and threads representing the soul bond, hand sewn endbands, custom typeset to tie into the soul bond theme, and inclusion of the artwork that Evy commissioned/had gifted to her! by @emma.binds.things

Kulti by @marianazapata is one of my favorite books, so I was thrilled to be able to send it to @bindingmuse as part of a trade!

I was stuck in design limbo for a long time with this one, but if I did a halfway decent job, you'll be able to tell this is inspired by the Probably Smut 'Deep End' SE, for which the INCREDIBLE original art was done by @rosiesfables (who has also done art for the Bride and Mate SEs!)

If you love a sports romance or a slow burn romance, I would highly recommend picking this book up! (But be prepared, because it is a SLOW burn 🔥)

The net, soccer ball, and cards are from Canva with some modifications by me in Procreate, and the legs are by me in Procreate via a reference image of... legs, shockingly enough. by @emma.binds.things

The Complete Debt of Time - Can You Swim? edition by @shayalonnie

Now that @ashreads.andbinds has received their copy, I get to post pictures! This was a wild ride from start to finish. The typeset has a variety of water-themed images throughout for chapter breaks, and the giant squid adding some commentary during book breaks.

Mia's "Can you swim?" was one of my favorite parts of this story, and I knew I wanted to make a themed bind for it one day.

The cover is homemade bookcloth with silky satin fabric, the endpapers are from @hollanders.book.and.paper.arts with added Parchment style paper on top. The binding style is Japanese hemp leaf binding following a tutorial by @agassido (funny enough @_the_librocubicularist_ recently posted a bind in the same style - check it out, it's awesome!). I did modify the binding due to textblock thickness, and used crochet thread to sew it. Cover also has HTV foil because I would not be me if I didn't add it lol.

Final picture is the screenshot I took of someone's story (which doesn't include the name IM SORRY SO IF IT WAS YOURS PLEASE COMMENT) and that's where the initial inspiration for the overall bind design came from.

Enjoy my rebind of Sin and Chocolate by @kfbreene made for a trade with @magical_memories7

This was... experimental to say the least. The blue, white, and brown are all fabric. The bones and text are HTV.

It was so much fun to pick a book I love, rebind it, and send it out! Thanks for trading with me, K!

Since @crisanthamumbinding has received her package, I figure I'll post the pictures I took of the binds I made for our trade!
I decided to go with a Panville fic, the Rite (as well as the accompanying Dramione fic in a paperback), by @parksandfiction
The Rite is meant to be a greenhouse, and I even went (a little) outside the box for the shape. The cover is Japanese bookcloth with UV color changing HTV for the flowers and silver foil for the outline.
The Internship paperback is meant to look like a Ministry file, with a few notes and stains accompanying it.

The Losers Duet by harleylarouxwriter

I love this series/duet/duology/whatever the heck word you wanna use for this beautiful story!

When I realized I would FINALLY be finishing up this rebind during Pride month, I decided to change up my design idea a bit and make it to represent the bisexual flag, however subtly. Harley is outspoken that all their characters are bisexual, as Harley is.

P.S. the ebooks for The Dare, and Losers parts 1 & 2 are all on sale for $0.99 this weekend in honor of Pride month - so if you haven't checked this series out - GO DO IT (and then tell me how much you loved it). (You then need to check out the Souls trilogy...)

Iris folding process video ⚘️
In real time, making this scarab took about 12 minutes,not counting prep time, so this is a quick little craft if you go simple!
I found this type of craft a few years ago and recently had the idea to incorporate it into a bind. I love the papers I chose and how it turned out ☺️ by @emma.binds.things
