Camp New Dawn was a hard one for us this year. After losing Jacob, there were definitely moments that hit differently and brought up a lot of emotions.

But even with the hard parts, it was still such a good experience. There were tears, lots of laughs, good conversations, and some really special moments.

We missed Jacob so much, but I know he was right there with us through all of it. In the laughs, the tears, the memories, and all the little moments, we felt him with us.

Sometimes the hard and the good can exist at the same time, and this weekend was definitely that. 🤍

jacob was the most selfless, caring, and honest person you could have ever met. If I had known that the last time I would see you was last week I would have made you stay longer and hugged you a bit tighter. one of the biggest blessings I had was being able to call you one of my friends. he never failed to put a smile on your face or make you laugh. god works in mysterious ways but until we meet again rest easy jacob❤️🕊️ by @emma.cecelia3
