God's plan is so so good! I honestly was not planning on coming on this trip for a 3rd year. BUT, what a blessing it was to be invited back and given the opportunity to inspire a younger group of missionaries! San Juan is a community with so much love to give, and getting to pour back into them physically and spiritually is my favorite gift from God.

My talk this year was about the spiritual works of mercy, but more deeply, it was about love. It takes such strength to let strangers into your house and an even greater amount of love to help a stranger. This mission brought me so much peace and i feel so fulfilled after reconnecting with the sweetest girls and getting to spend a week serving the Lord without distractions.

TYJ for hope! This year I was given the opportunity to go back to the valley on a trip that continues to change my life in so many different ways. Serving in this community has shown me that even through the darkest of storms, hope remains prevalent and necessary in our lives. Every moment and experience I had on this trip from being wake up committee, spreading love through VBS, and eating probably 40 marshmallows, to installing floors, trying new candies, and catching baby chicks, showed me that the Lords plan is so so good. Getting to share this experience with so many friends and watching it open the eyes of my brother truly made me realize that the goodness of God never fails. See you soon San Juan! by @emma.schourek
