🎙️ Episode 5 of The Things We Do is officially recorded! ❤️

This time, I had the absolute joy of sitting down with my beautiful friend Emma Biron! 🥹

Born and raised in Québec City, Emma is an incredibly talented actor, writer, and director, but more importantly, she's a genuinely wonderful, beautifully spirited human being.

I'm not just lucky to know Emma, I'm lucky to have her in my life. Getting to call someone like her a friend is something I don't take for granted, and it's always such a joy to celebrate the people I care about and the incredible things they do.

And trust me, this is a GOOD ONE! 😂❤️

We tease each other, talk about life, reflect on our creative journeys, and have a good old chat about the skills we've developed along the way. It's one of those conversations that reminds me why I started The Things We Do in the first place.

BTS to Make An Effort, my second short film.

I don’t think I can properly express the gratitude I have to those who helped me make this possible. I cared so deeply for this story, one that has been a part of me for so long without ever realizing it. It was only until I found a way to put into words that I understood how important of a story it was. Girlhood’s transcendence into womanhood is a heartbreaking transition for many, and I hope this can only bring us closer together, and remind us of who we used to be; before the pressures of being perfect, overbearingly intelligent and constantly available to others seeped its way into our minds and bodies. My cast and crew came together so miraculously, and I would not have wanted it any other way.

Thank you for all the incredible pre work done by @nayah_kd, @tuplin_tuplin , and @_mayawarddd. Thank you to the talented @gabrielforreall , @david.is.a.redhead, @lindsaywatt_ and @naylamitri for coming on such short notice and truly giving us SUCH a huge hand, and ofc, thank you to my beautiful cast @charli_kidby , @kyla_santos715 , @molly.alexander_ and @sandpazz for evoking such passionate performances. I adore all of you so much, I cannot wait to share this project with you.💗 by @emma_biron

“Because Logic means Justice.”

Rhinoceros was a labour of so many efforts, brilliant minds and a shared vision to make an impactful piece. I’ve learned so much about play and leaning into the absurd, while also understanding my place and responsibility in a world full of chaos. The Logician was such a fascinating character to take on, what a little weirdo.
