London marathon - only bloody went and finished!!! What a rollercoaster. The female body is incredible ♥️I gave birth just over 9 months ago, and the journey back to exercise wasn’t exactly smooth. I had a difficult pregnancy with ongoing blood issues throughout, and once Finn was born, I had to wait 2 months before getting the all clear to return to training.I then breastfed my baby by exclusively pumping for the first 7 months, which gave me the flexibility to start exercising again. Then, 8 months postpartum, during a long run, I thought I’d picked up an injury—only to discover it was actually caused by my SI joint shifting out of place during birth.It definitely wasn’t the smoothest build-up 😅 but I completed it and that was my only goal. Not sure I’ve fully caught the racing bug yet, but I’m sure my husband will be working hard to convince me it only gets better 😂 @thomaslindie (Chip time – 4:28:14 )#londonmarathon by @emmaalindie
