She was my idol. Independent, brave, clever and and with a huge heart. “I am never offended by dumb blond jokes as I I know I am not dumb and I know I am not blonde”. She sold 100 milllion records, won 10 Grammy awards and was married for 58 years to a man that just went to see her in concert once. She always smiled. Dolly was a perfect proof that a little bit of tackiness brings you a lot of happiness. She was a genius bimbo. “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap”. The daughter of a poor Tennessee farmer that did not know how to read or write, she created in his honour her foundation: The Imagination Library that managed to give 318 million books to children. She gave 1 million dollars donation to the Vanderbilt University Medical center to research a vaccine for COVID19. When somebody asked her how long did it take to do her hair she quickly responded: “I don’t know I am never there”. She felt she had nothing to prove. “Find out who you are and do it on purpose” and she definitely did. #dollyparton #dollywood #country #blonde nashvi by @emmaaskari

I always said that there is nothing like Greek hospitality. After reading again The Odyssey it turns out that is all based in the concept of Philoxenia: friend to the stranger. It is a code of values based on myth and history. Every stranger who comes to your house must be welcomed, fed and sheltered before you know their names or purpose because regardless it he or she looks like a beggar they might in fact be a god in disguise. Now I can say Greek hospitality is almost divine. Thank you to all our friends (and you know who you are) that made our stay so immensely pleasurable. Elated, inspired, grateful. What a great example the Spanish team set for the young generation and the world. Football, sometimes, can be an spiritual force. So proud of Ferran my fellow Valencian. #worldcup2026⚽️ #ilovespain #ferrantorres #lamineyamal #nicowilliams by @emmaaskari

The biggest triumph for the city that I consider home for 12 perfect years. Only 5 games to end 53 years without winning a championship. From Ibiza: let’s go Knicks! #nyc #ibiza #knicks taken in Ibiza, Spain by @emmaaskari
