I jumped on a silly trend that had nothing to do with what I do. The algorithm loved it but it didn’t attract the audience I want on my page…

The sad truth is, we’ve become sooooo obsessed with views and follower counts. Have we forgotten that we are business owners and here to make money??? Not to entertain strangers on the internet 😭

Going viral doesn’t mean your business is going in the right direction. But we have allowed such a silly number hold so much power over us and define our success. Like why are we confusing popularity with success?

Don’t get me wrong, in order to build a successful business we need visibility and engagement. We need people to know we exist, but why has “being viral” become the ultimate measure of success?!?!?

A video gets 3M views and suddenly we think we’re doing something right. Sure you cracked the algorithm but how many of those people are actually interested in what you offer? How many are potential clients? How many will EVER spend a dollar with your business?

A trial isn’t just “another wedding expense” that you cut out. Trials matter a lot more than you think. It’s where we work out exactly what you love, what works best for your skin type, what suits you the most and what feels most like you. And if something doesn’t feel right, this is your chance to speak up!
