Words can’t describe how hard this year has been. Today heaven gained another angel. The strongest man that I know. He deserves to be recognized for all he did in the world and all the happy, enjoyable, fun moments we got to share.

Dear grandpa,
You are the strongest man that I know. You kept a smile on your face and always made sure to be there for me. Words will never describe the way I’m feeling now that you’re gone, but I know you’re out of pain. You were the best grandpa anyone could ever ask for and I will always remember that. Our talks we used to have about what I’m doing after school or just life in general will always have a special place in my heart. I know you are looking over me, dad, grandma, mom, and my sisters and will still always be here for us even though we can’t hug or hold your hand anymore. I know you were an amazing father, husband, grandpa, great grandpa, and all around human being and everyone won’t ever forget that. I would do anything right now to be able to talk to you again, but I know God is taking care of you now.I love you so much grandpa and I will see you again one day.Rest in peace 🕊️❤️

He is a person who deserved everything and the 16 years of my life wouldn’t be the same without him. Now we have to live for him and keep his legacy going even through the hard times. I will forever be grateful for the time we shared and the memories we have. Let’s pray, dear Heavenly Father I pray that you keep my family strong through this hard time and be with us every step of the way. I pray that you give us signs that grandpa is still with us and will always be watching over us. I pray that if someone in the family feels like giving up that you take their hand and be with them every step of the way. Heavenly Father please tell my grandpa when you see him that we will always remember him and will love him for the rest of eternity. This year has had many ups and downs. Youth nationals has always been a goal of mine, not to only show but also do well in. I can’t thank God enough for putting me in a position and meeting the people I met to make me come this far. Kelsey and Grant have been there for me ever since I wanted to compete at a national level, they have always wanted me to do well and try to make me the best I can be. I can’t thank Jordyn enough for giving me the opportunity to show stroke, I couldn’t have done any of this without them. I came home with 2 top tens, 1 in my jtr select English class(overall 3rd) and my native costume class 15-18(overall 7th). This has been a dream come true. To me winning is definitely nice and definitely a dream of mine for next year at youth, but winning is not everything. From being dead last at every show to competing at nationals and getting in the top 10 is everything I could’ve asked for. I will always be beyond grateful for the opportunities I get and the people who help me get there. This show season has definitely been a blast and I still can’t get over how many people have my back and supported me all the way to this point. Thank you to everyone who helped me get this far and helping me become the best I can be in this career I have always dreamed of!❤️ by @emmab22609
