So proud of this group for all their hard work this year on the Digital course.

💫.....HE Access exhibition June 2024.....💫
So unbelievably proud of the students on this year's HE Access course.
So excited for all their future progression route onto degrees, as emotional as it is every year to say good bye to such a wonderful group of students.

If you get a chance to go see their work it's up in the Newcastle Contemporary Art Gallery till Saturday. by @emmabird.creates

Throw back to 1996 my final show at Hartlepool Art college my theme was 1950's beach. Inspired by my Nana and Grandads old photos of them at the beach. by @emmabird.creates

💫 Porridge bowl...

This is a pre made bowl from @thepotteryexperience I painted with coloured slips in a cat and bird theme for my son for Christmas.

Love how it's turned out but I've already wrapped it so cannot show it after it's been fired by @emmabird.creates

💫 Mini Houses...

Made these with a bit of clay left over. Really happy how they came out so planning on making more.

I've left a little hole in the top for wire to put a little bird flying above the roof tops. by @emmabird.creates

💫Mono-printing...
A lovely relaxing session at Shipley Art Galley today. @equalarts
A technique using calligraphy pens to draw acrylic ink on acetate and then print onto watercolour paper.
Then adding vibrant colours and textures with watercolour paint, the outcomes were brilliant.
