Gaby and I are getting married in 21 DAYS and I made a little book to celebrate! LOVE WINS(?) is a critical reflection on marriage equality on the 10th anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, which legalized “same-sex marriage” on June 26, 2015. Nine oral histories make up the bulk of this book: stories of being single, partnered, married, and divorced. Many thanks to all of my participants who kindly trusted me to print their thoughts on all things LOVE.

Thank you to @gjavitt for letting me print our joint thoughts on marriage, knowing full well that we probably have no idea what we’re getting ourselves into, lol. I’m bad at self promotion but I’m happy to belatedly share that my oral history of Cherry Grove (beloved lesbian enclave, iykyk) was published in the summer 2025 issue of @cake_zine. Enormous thank yous to the numerous queers who spoke to me for this oral history, including Joan Nestle, who founded the @lesbianherstoryarchives back in 1974.
