Ever wondered what’s going on inside a conductor’s head? Too much to fit into one reel, to be honest, but here’s a glimpse!

This clip was recorded exactly one year ago today with Genesis Sixteen, as we prepared for our tour to New York.

ADORE these singers and this piece (I think it might officially be my favourite?!!)

It’s been a while!! I ended up having a slightly unintentional break from posting on Instagram but I’m back 🫡 and here with a round up of the last few months.

It’s been a summer of many weddings and choir residentials, some of which I got pictures of, and some of which I didn’t. I’ll try to share a couple of musical highlights over the next few weeks!

I’m back at home now and really enjoying getting back into a routine after several consecutive weeks away. My toiletries are officially out of my travel washbag and it feels GREAT 🥳

Hope you’ve all had happy summers! Looking forward to seeing what this term brings… by @emmaconductor

Somehow it’s already time for another behind-the-scenes monthly round-up 📆

I’ve been a bit neglectful with posting on here recently, as May was a busy month with lots of rehearsals and preparations for my end of year exam (10 days to go!)

Looking forward to sharing more musical content soon, and details of some upcoming concerts! 🎶 by @emmaconductor

A little bit late, but I’m back with my monthly round ups… 🗓️⏮️

Swipe to see some of the things I got up to this April (as well as conducting lots of choir rehearsals, of course!)

Really enjoyed introducing last night’s audience to Amy Beach’s ‘Grand Mass in Eb’ with Hampton Choral Society in association with Arts Richmond 🎵

Thanks to the super soloist team, the singers in the choir, and especially to Tammas Slater on the organ 🎹 by @emmaconductor

A very enjoyable few days of listening for balance and trying really hard to spot wrong notes 🕵️‍♀️👂

@thesixteenchoir and @brittensinfonia1 are sounding SO good and this piece is epic. Tune in to BBC Radio 3 at 7:30pm next Sunday 29th to hear the premiere! by @emmaconductor
