Revisiting PCT memories as this season’s NOBOs are working their way through the desert heat 🌞

Those initial 700-ish miles tested my patience and shook my self-confidence, simultaneously priming my mind and body for the months to come. I’m itching for the next trip to see just how far endurance can reach…

en route to trail days, the definition of trail magic fell into our group’s lap… gifted a car from a stranger, four wheels and our fearless oregonian took us on a trip up the coast to see the sights and take a much-needed rest from trail. a side quest, if you will.

i’ll never stop thinking about the people i met, the places i saw and the way things fell into place during my time on the pct… & i don’t think that’s a bad thing. taken in PNW by @emmaemonty
