POSTS STORIES REELS

Words can’t describe how excited I am to be making my West End debut this August! ✨

It’s such an honour to be joining this incredible production, and I can’t wait to share this experience with you all.

A huge thank you to my amazing agent Hayley Hills, Juliette Greedy, Rob Kelly Casting, director Phillip Wm. McKinley, and writer Sharleen Cooper Cohen.💗

Pixie Lott stars as the iconic Marilyn Monroe, and I’ll be the alternate for the role. If you’d like to see me perform as Marilyn, I’m performing every Thursday and Saturday matinees.

See you in the West End! 🥂✨ by @emmahaines_

In celebration of obtaining my Masters in Acting, here is my showreel! Grateful for the brilliant direction by James Harkness and performing alongside the incredible Abigail Devine. 🥰 by @emmahaines_

And just like that… my West End chapter as Marilyn Monroe comes to a close. 🤍

What an extraordinary, unexpected, challenging and deeply personal experience this has been.

Stepping into the shoes of one of the most iconic women in history was never just about the blonde hair, the red lipstick or recreating an image the world thinks it knows. It was about finding the woman behind it all.

Her ambition, her vulnerability, her contradictions, her humanity.

And somewhere along the way, I found parts of myself in her, too.

This experience challenged me in ways I never could have anticipated. It taught me to trust my training, back my instincts and keep showing up, even when the circumstances around me weren’t always what I’d hoped for.

I’ve learned that you can be capable and still need support. You can rise to a challenge and still deserve to be seen. And you can be underestimated without allowing it to define you.

I’m leaving this chapter with an even deeper love for my craft, an enormous amount of gratitude for the audiences who welcomed me, and a reminder that someone else’s perception of you doesn’t have to become your perception of yourself.

Marilyn spent a lifetime being looked at. I hope, in some small way, I helped people see her.
Thank you to everyone who came, who watched, who supported me, and who made this chapter one I’ll never forget. And thank you, Marilyn, for the questions you leave me with long after the curtain falls.

Being seen is one thing. Being understood is another. ✨

Until the next one. 🤍
