This semester, I was able to choreograph my third piece for @sacredheartuniversitydance ! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be able to create and tell another story to put on stage.

“Bass Boat” is a contemporary piece that explores the complexities of growing up and looking back on childhood, both the good moments and the harder ones that linger. This piece navigates the emotions tied to experiences that shape who we become, capturing moments of innocence, change, and self discovery. It highlights how the past is a part of us, shaping how we see the world and ourselves today. It’s something vulnerable, bittersweet, and nostalgic.

To my 10 dancers, thank you for your support and patience as we crafted this together. This semester had a few obstacles but you all persevered and we tackled them together. I’m going to miss our Tuesday nights together and I’m truly grateful for you all. So much love!!!!🧡💙🛶🎣🌅

This past semester, I was grateful for the opportunity to choreograph my second piece for @sacredheartuniversitydance . I was able to dive into a new style of contemporary one I hadn’t explored before and push myself creatively in ways I didn’t expect.

My piece, “Through Their Eyes,” encompasses the unsettling feeling of being watched or followed. In today’s world, this experience is, unfortunately, all too common. These emotions and realities became the inspiration and foundation for this vision.

To my dancers, thank you for trusting me, my brain, and my vision. Thank you for showing up every week ready to get creepy and crawly. I’m forever grateful for each and every one of you, and I’ll miss our Tuesday nights together. 🖤
