episode 11 out this week. :) Consumption: why did we stop creating? All about something that's been bothering me so much... it feels like all I do sometimes is consume, consume, consume. And it's somehow exhausting in and of itself. If you're also exhausted and tired, this is for you. I may not have a quick fix for overconsumption, but I do know the opposite of consumption is creation. Let's remember that we're creators by nature and find the will to break free. link in bio per usual 🫶 #seattlepodcast #nervoussystemregulation #overconsumption #createnotconsume #seattlecreator by @emmainseattle

October may cure us still. 🐈‍⬛🎃 Had such an amazing time seeing Julia Wolf live at The Showbox (my fave venue). What a beautiful human being, inside and out. thanks for spending some hoa hoa hoa time with us in the PNW #333 #juliawolf #seattleconcert #twilightvibes #pnwlife by @emmainseattle
Shoutout to everyone hitting the gym this morning 🤪 Okay now that I made my joke, real talk, I'm out here running this morning not because I think I'll magically grow to 5'11" or because I feel ashamed of what I look like and need to "fix" myself. That's what 16 year old me would have done. I'm out here running this morning because I'm inspired to be the most healthy, beautiful version of ME. I'm so inspired to take care of my body like the sacred vessel it is, to show it love through movement and care. I saw so much confidence, athleticism, and genuine joy from the women on the stage last night. It radiated through the screen. I can't stop smiling to myself because I feel so free from the thoughts of shame and comparison that used to haunt me. If only I could tell 16 year old me that we make it through to the other side, and we are so in love with who we are now. And that we can watch a fun fashion show without it needing to be anything more than that: a show. Tuning in this year was so different for me, maybe it was for you too, or maybe it wasn't. Or maybe none of it matters and whatever brought you to the gym this morning, that's enough. And YOU are enough. ✨🪽 #vsfashionshow #morningrun #tatemcrae #selfacceptance #edrecovery by @emmainseattle

I can't get enough of the leaves on the ground 🍂 how can there be so much magic on just one walk around the block? Fall will always be my favorite time of year here. Also obsessed with the new @tezza uptown preset. makes everything warm and cozy #fallwalks🍁 #hotgirlwalk #pnwlife #seattlecreator #goldenhourmagic by @emmainseattle
When your husband is on the news for the @fairmontolympic 🥹 there was a LOT of loud cheering in apartment 303 yesterday morning. From all the partners, friends, family, pets, and neighbors, thanks @newdaynw and @king5seattle for putting our favorite people on tv! It makes for the most special moments. And go visit my favorite bartender, @ashgeokha behind the bookcase in @foundersclubseattle for the best cocktails of your life (and the best vibes) #seattlespeakeasy #bartender #seattlecreator #pnwlife #hemadeitonthenewsmom by @emmainseattle
I went in for just one plant but here we are now. Rosemary for remembrance, for protection, and for stiff joints. Oregano for joy, for letting go, or for a sore throat. Thyme for courage, for the fae, and for a cough that won’t quit. Purple peppers to break a curse and warm cold hands. Coral bells to close a wound and hold a boundary. berry smoothie for nothing at all, except that she changes with the season. are these all fall plants? absolutely not. do they have pretty colors and will they survive the gloom? yes. #pnwlife #practicalmagic #gardenwitch #seattlecreator #autumn by @emmainseattle
For the whimsy of it all. 🐇✨🪄 I've been loving the social media trend of finding your whimsy again. life should be playful. life should be magical. and you deserve to do things because they make you happy, not for any other purpose. In episode 10, I wanted to share a little of my own whimsy with you. Spinning in circles until I fall down. Naming inanimate objects. Falling in love with life because isn't that the whole point? I hope you rediscover what lights your heart up and remember that none of this is serious. And you can do things for the fun of it.
