My beautiful Nana,

I remember when ducklings had taken over our backyard and so we took out a kiddie pool for them. We kept picking them up and putting them in there to swim and they kept jumping out while we laughed and laughed.

Your garden was as beautiful as you. Filled with all the colors of the rainbow as we put on our gloves and perfected it together.

When you saved me from the foster system and brought me home, my room was pink and green and as perfect as I could ever imagine. You designed it all yourself so I could be a happy little girl.

I have so many precious memories to cherish. You gave me the imagination that protected me. I was never not reading because you always insisted my bookshelf wasn’t full enough. You made every holiday magical despite any chaos. You showed up to every school event and provided what mom couldn’t because of her addiction. You gave up everything for us and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for giving me a childhood I will never ever forget. Mama Mia will be on my tv for a while in honor of you. I will be your Lulu always. May you and your daughter be dancing in heaven together forever. Thank you, I love you ❤️ by @emmaluciiaa
