june 20, 2026 - our favorite day 🤍

our full gallery is back, and these are a few of our favorites! our amazing photographer gave us so so many and every time we look through them, we find find new favorites. 🤍

eight years together, this day was something we always thought about. our day truly exceeded all expectations,hopes, and dreams that we had for it. we felt so surrounded by love and joy from our friends and family, and we are so grateful for everyone who made our day perfect! it was so special to be surrounded by everyone we love so much- we want to relive it every day!🤍

My Finny boy, I am not even sure where to begin.

Four years ago, I got the opportunity to puppy raise and was sent a picture of this sweet puppy with the cutest puppy belly. We met and I felt this connection instantly that I wasn’t sure I had ever felt. When we determined the service dog life wasn’t right for him due to his anxiety, I knew in my heart I could give him the best life and he would always be safe with me.

We went through a lot together, nursing school, moving from apartment to apartment, health issues, family losses, life changes etc. Finn gave me motivation every day to keep going and loved me with everything he had. He gave us a love so deep. He has always been the best brother to all his foster siblings. He has always been so much more than “just a dog” to me. If you know me, you know I’m completely obsessed with my Finny. In fact, I tell people all the time that he’s my child, and he truly is my baby. 🤍

I’ll miss his sweet nibbles on every thing I own, I’ll even miss the little tiny holes it leaves on my blankets and clothes. I’ll miss his obnoxious yawns in the morning (and every hour of the day). I’ll miss watching him chase squirrels in the backyard and them taunting him. I’ll miss him greeting me at the door every morning when I get home from work like he’s been waiting for me all night. I’ll miss our snuggles on the couch and him always taking up an incredible amount of space in the bed. I’ll miss dressing him up in his jammies. I’ll miss seeing him sun bathing and laying in all his favorite spots. I’ll miss his soft fur, his ears, his squishy face, his soft belly, and sweet big brown puppy eyes. I’ll miss just staring at him for forever and wondering how I truly got the cutest sweetest puppy I could ever imagine. by @emmalynnsirois
