HA C27: Ignorance is Bliss – Emman Meroj Dj / Music Producer / Multidisciplinary Artist -— @emman.meroj @humanafterallcollective PT Emman Meroj é um alter-ego de Emmanuel Mejía Ornelas. Projeto criado em 2016 após Emmanuel ter completado um curso de percussão clássica no qual se apaixonou pela composição, e viu mais tarde na produção de música eletrónica um meio de exploração sonora que lhe proporciona um output criativo de abrangência para fazer também ativismo. Entre o experimental, o caótico e o minimalista, Emman Meroj brinca com as estéticas do techno e do lo-fi (entre outros). É produto da era digital e globalização capitalista, e numa época em que a humanidade pede retorno às raízes, representa uma exploração do som no mundo moderno.ENEmman Meroj is an alter ego of Emmanuel Mejía Ornelas. The project was created in 2016 after Emmanuel completed a classical percussion course where he fell in love with composition. He saw electronic music production as a means of exploring sound that would provide him with a broad creative output for activism purposes as well. Emman Meroj is a product of the digital era and capitalist globalization, playing with techno and lo-fi aesthetics (and others), ranging from experimental to chaotic and minimalist. At a time when humanity is calling for a return to its roots, Emman Meroj represents an exploration of sound in the modern world. With a cease fire or not, all the horror and blood of innocents in the hands of the z¡onist entity named "I$ra€l", must be brought forward to justice.There are war crimes to be judged and no compensation is enough for the loss of lifes and trauma caused.More than 46,000 human beings were killed. Children teared up to pieces in body and soul. Schools, temples, houses, hospitals, playgrounds and streets, were bombed to the ground. Hope never left, but suffering neither.Broken families and orfans celebrate but deserve better, much better.❤️‍🔥Swiping the dust off the floor, the stories of all who died bravely, innocently, righteously, must not be forgotten.🙏I am no one in regards to this, but I want to share the awareness that if an idea can't be k¡lled, that counts too for the bad ideas. The revolution lives on, but so the old and crooked powers. Z¡💀nism is an ideology that allows people to dehumanizes others by not seeing the truth and their value with due dignity and rights they posses, feeding and/or fed by islamophobia and racism and colonialism, and it's rooted in fear and egocentric greed. This ideology is limiting, poisonous, dangerous and must be eradicated through human rights education, trauma informed education and spiritual education.This won't end on a Sunday afternoon.In other places of this planet, the actions of I$ra€l continue to destroy natural landscapes and other indigenous communities aswell, as one can see in the case of Norway's Sámi people.✊️🔨🌐I want to see war criminals in jail, growing, healing, and becoming better humans by cultivating regeneration and reconcilliation and loving more than violence and revenge.I allow my self to cry with rage, but I & I love aswell. It's time to mourn the dead.Forgive but do not forget. May violence whether physical or psychological, be our last resource to correct human corruption, because if it's our first reaction or our favourite, we have failed.My heart goes out to all the resilient children, mothers and fathers who still stand despite it all.
