Establishing baselines📍

This was the state of my edges in February 2026.

The first order of business in this hair growth journey is restoring my hairline. It will probably take up to 2 years to grow back fully; I have no choice but to be patient.

I'm already seeing some progress that I'm super excited about, and I'm going to share everything I’m doing to get these babies back.

I attended Reboot Camp for the first time last year, and it is worth all the hype x100!🔥🔥🔥

Pumped and ready for Reboot Camp this year. I know my life is about to change forever🙌🔥

You can join us from wherever you are, but you have to lock in. You cannot be multi-tasking with Reboot Camp. Drop everything and go to a streaming center, or find some friends to stream with.

If you are in Benin, Lagos or any other City, you can join us for this life changing meeting🔥🔥

It's harrrrrddddd😭😭

My head looks so odd and uncomfortable without anything else on it but my hair.

I did a 3-month trial run with twists back-to-back, and to be honest, I didn’t like the way I looked 😫 The twists frizzed up so fast! And I didn’t have the time to be redoing them every 2 weeks🥹🥹

Naso I run go do small braids with extensions immediately after, so that I would stop looking like a homeless person, but quickly realized what a terrible move that was because my scalp itched like crazy when I did that. Since I took a 3-month break, coming back to extensions, I'm now more sensitive to the chemicals in them and the itchiness they cause.

So now, I’m back to no extensions for the whole of 2026, at least. Let me try to save my edges and retain some length. I will be documenting my journey to recover my edges and grow waist-length hair here, so do come along🤝

I need to have a frame on my wall reminding me everyday that I’m a fine girl o😅 by @emmanuela_oa

Every time rain falls, I just remember “Thank you God for shelter”…

I’ve never been homeless before, so I can only try to wrap my head around the tradegy of not having a warm bed to come back to.

I’m truly grateful for the roof over my head🙏 by @emmanuela_oa

God sees our hearts, we can't deceive Him even if we wanted to. So Lord change my heart, so that my behavior will naturally align with what you want from me.

I learnt today the four heart postures that God wants us to have;

A heart of hospitality & honour for all men.

A heart aligned with God's purpose.

A heart of prayer.

A heart of worship.

Discovered these shoes as my daily driver in 2023, and they have been so ever since🥰🥰
The rest of the post is just a throwback to 2023.

Created this earlier in the year but never got around to sharing it. This year I discovered experientially that God actually hears my prayers, and He sends help when I need it. Probably not in the way that I’m expecting it, but He shows up for me every time.

Cast your cares upon the Lord because He cares for you❤️

Amplified says: Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 1 Peter 5:7

But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the House of God.
I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.
