MANU COSSUSOUVENIRS DU FUTURVOL 2For a long time, we have used art to bear witness to the world.What if we started using it to transform it?My work is rooted in a simple belief: images shape our collective imagination. They feed our fears, our desires, and our sense of what is possible. Before a future exists, it almost always exists first as an image.Using images generated with artificial intelligence, I imagine desirable futures.Futures where symbols of power become symbols of peace. Where soldiers carry bouquets of flowers. Where flags no longer celebrate borders, but humanity. Where strength is expressed through protection rather than domination.These images are then hand-painted by an atelier in Hong Kong.This passage from the virtual to the physical is essential. It anchors these visions in reality, giving them presence, history, and permanence.Just as Andy Warhol used the popular imagery of his time to reveal the mechanisms of our society, I use artificial intelligence today as a new creative tool-not to predict the future, but to propose one.I am not trying to represent the world as it is. I am trying to imprint, within our collective un-conscious, the images of a world we could choose to build.Because every political, social, or cultural transformation begins with an image that someone dared to imagine.These works are less representations of the future than visual seeds-an attempt to replace the symbols of fear with those of hope, and a reminder that imagination may be our most powerful force for change.Exhibition au Garage @ands_tuff, 15/07-22/07 6pm-8pm ou sur rendez-vous 10 avenue Harispe, Guéthary. by @emmanuelcossu

💡A quick lighting ⚡️breakdown from our friend @boucardmatias 📝All the idea was to captur a lighting strike. But with a good light on the car. ⚡️So we did a 40x40 softbox with 60 skypanel, Because we shooting around 600 fps. So need power.Starting in the dark, framing the car, Then drive on the Lane was challenge. Because i was seing no think in the caméra. What I did, it's l use 3 small LED lamp to fine some référence in the frame » really technical, but at the end he look quite close from the référence that we had with Gemmanuelcossu the Director. In 2013, directing duo Fleur & Manu released the boundary-pushing music video for ‘Pursuit’ by Gesaffelstein.The video unfolds as continuous backward tracking shots, revealing a sequence of surreal tableaux vivants (living pictures) that create an unrelenting, hypnotic, and oppressive sense of order.Fusing clinical military-industrial imagery with high fashion and museum-like displays, the video blurs the line between authority and aesthetics, while exploring themes of power, surveillance, and control.The film is referenced in art and design as an example of motion as structure, rather than narrative.@fleurfortune @emmanuelcossu by @emmanuelcossu

Director’s Cut — Rabanne SS25From Sunset to Sunrise, this project was born as a love letter to Brazil and the raw, electric beauty of Brazilian funk.It began while we were working with @ludmilla , a force of nature and one of the most powerful voices in funk today. @juliendossena created custom looks for her and shared a lesser-known part of Paco Rabanne’s story: the funk and soul label he launched in the 80s, and Black Sugar, a Paris nightclub he opened to celebrate Afro-Caribbean music. That spirit of rhythm and radical curiosity lit the way.We imagined a project that would carry that legacy forward, not about funk, but created with it. Not from the outside, but shaped from within.@emmanuelcossu brought that vision to life with a powerful, cinematic tribute to baile culture. Shot in Rocinha through the lens of Melissa de Oliveira @melisssadeoliveira , the film features over 70 people: dancers, DJs, riders, and everyday legends. And at the end, Ludmilla’s voice — sensual and magnetic.
