I love to imagine Jesus singing this song to me 🫶🏻 🫧🍇🌷☀️

I remember my first time going to the Adoration Chapel by myself. Not knowing if I was being reverend enough. Unsure of what exactly I should/could be doing in there besides kneeling and praying. After going a few times and seeing what other people do in their time adoring the Blessed Sacrament, I got more comfortable and was able to truly encounter Jesus in this special way.
I long for time spent in the chapel with Him. It is truly a mystery that God allows Him to be with us here so physically. He knows we are physical beings who long for things to see, touch, and feel. He really is the greatest gentleman. 🌷

1. Visited Pope Leo
2. Encountered the Father’s love
3. Went to my first SEEK Conference with 20,000 Catholic college students
4. Became a fellow and learned in a German castle
5. Ran my first race! 13.1
6. Flew from Rome to Destin
7. Spoke at a confirmation retreat
8. Cheered on Jack for his 13.1
9. Morning daily mass with Em
10. Devoted myself to Jesus in the Eucharist
11. Formed virtuous friendships
12. Summer car rides with no AC ☀️
13. Hosted my first Bible Study!
14. Found lotsss of clovers 🍀
15. Mass at St. Joseph
16. Became “The Little Clover”
17. Graduated College!
18. Became a girlfriend on the Solemnity of Pentecost
19. Became besties with a French girl

The Eternal City
Being a pilgrim during a Jubilee year of hope was a blessing I cannot believe I received.

Some words to describe my pilgrimage: powerful, emotional, sanctifying, strengthening, uncomfortable, breathtaking. I have many more words on the tip of my tongue but it’s difficult for me to explain. I’m still processing the graces I received on this pilgrimage and fellowship.

Being a pilgrim is such a special journey. It changes your heart posture. It reminds you to live in a state of gratitude knowing that you can go and celebrate mass, pray before Jesus in perpetual adoration, and receive Him in the most Holy Eucharist so easily.
He’s so accessible. Yet we often remain comfortable with going to mass only on Sundays- sometimes just a few times a year.

My mind struggles to understand how exactly a year ago I was living so comfortably in my sin. Apart from God. Seeking joy on my own. Being filled up by the world, blinded by the enemy’s ability to package sin in a shiny box with a bow on it.

My cup wouldn’t stay full for long.

By God’s grace I came back home to him.
To this Church.
One that lays out the “rules” for me. Rules of love. Rules that protect me. Rules that, if followed intently, allow me to live in a state of grace.
Allow me to live in perfect union with my Creator.
