POSTS STORIES REELS

Current POV: 🌸🌸🌸

I am out of the office for the next week at the Kauai Writer’s Conference. I will be checking in sporadically so if I don’t respond to a message or a post, it’s because I’m working hard to improve my craft and finish a project.

but I have to say it’s been a bit since I’ve been to Hawaii, and I miss it so much. It is where my father and Izzy’s ashes were scattered (off Maui) and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m so happy to be back. Much love, and aloha nui! by @emmascottwrites

My first rom-com arrives November 10th! You can preorder the eBook or audiobook now! https://books2read.com/cytcES (🔗 in b|o)

Christmas Yet to Come is a modern reimagining of A Christmas Carol—a novel about love, regret, and finding happiness in the nick of time.

Caroline Nickleby is a workaholic CEO, running her own successful business, throwing lush galas for luxury hotels. She has spent years choosing ambition over commitment, convinced success is worth every sacrifice.

When the most important Christmas Eve holiday ball of her career takes a turn for the disastrous, Caroline is forced to confront an old love, her current toxic situationship, and the lonely future she’s running straight toward in her Louboutin stilettos… Until her most dedicated, (overworked) employee—an irritatingly handsome, wise-cracking, single father—offers her the one thing money can’t buy.

I am so excited to be able to share this amazing news!! @read_alreadybooked is the newest imprint from Harper Collins, and I am absolutely thrilled and so grateful to contribute a very angsty, very emotional new adult romance with two characters that are so enmeshed with each other, it’s hard to know where the boundaries are or when they have been crossed.. These characters have been simmering in my mind and heart and I cannot wait to share them with you!

Such a huge thank you to @editorchrista for giving me this amazing opportunity and all my love and gratitude to @georgana_nina_grinstead for being the dream maker that you are. ❤️❤️❤️ by @emmascottwrites

Halloween is almost over so we can officially think about Christmas, right? (No shade to Thanksgiving but this book baby is out on November 10th!)

💗All In~Tausend Augenblicke💗 von @emmascottwrites @lyx_verlag @shelfie.audio

💗
❔Welche Geschichte wirst du nie mehr vergessen?
5/5⭐️

Book Review: When You Come Back to Me
By Emma Scott

This book absolutely broke my heart. 💔

This was my first MM romance, and I wasn't prepared for just how deeply this story would affect me. The depth of these characters, the intense longing, and their internal struggles had me feeling everything.

Holden and River are both carrying so much, just in very different ways. Holden's past with conversion therapy was devastating. The cruelty he endured and the lengths his parents went to in an attempt to break him were almost unbearable to read. And then there's River, trying to hold his family together while his mother is sick, all while hiding a part of himself from everyone around him.

What really got me was the connection between these two. The yearning, the push and pull, and the way they found something in each other that neither had ever truly experienced. Two incredibly complex characters who just wanted to be loved for who they were.

Emma Scott has such an incredible ability to capture the rawest parts of human emotion. The pain of not being accepted for who you are, the fear of losing the people you love, and the desperate longing to be seen, understood, and loved without conditions.

Holden and River's story was so much more than a romance. It was heartbreaking, raw, and incredibly moving. This book truly touched my heart. I can't wait to start the next book in The Lost Boys Series, The last piece of his heart.

QOTD: What book completely surprised you with how deeply it made you feel?

Which is your favorite trope on the list? I’m kind of partial to the rage-knitting.

This child is a horror junkie whose favorite movie is 127 Hours so of course I had to take her to see Whalefall.

You know it’s good when the 16 yo loves it even if it’s something mom loves too. I think I loved it more the second time.

Going to see Resident Evil next because apparently watching Austin Abrams having a bad day is my new favorite thing.

Little Pieces of Light by @emmascottwrites was absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time😭 Emma Scott writes books that are the definition of two things can be true at the same time. Her ability to break my heart and put it back together. All the same book will always blow me away.

Xander and Emerys story was so precious and if you haven’t read it yet, this is your sign to pick it up 🩵🫶🏽
