this has been the post i’ve been dreading for a long time. it’s so hard to say goodbye to something that is so important and special to me. it feels like yesterday i was in 7th grade walking through the student doors for the very first time. somehow these years have been the fastest years of my life. this being the last retreat i’ve had a lot a reflection of my walk with Christ, and all He has done. it hasn’t been easy but the Lord didn’t promise it would be. i couldn’t help but reflect how faithful the Lord has been.

it’s completely impossible to talk about these past 6 years without all the people who made them so special.

@jenndoggette and pastor john you guys have been second parents to me, since 7th grade, you’ve been one of the most constant people in my life. thank you for always checking in on me, praying for me, encouraging me, and loving me so well. celebrating the good moments with me and helped me through the hard ones.
thinking about leaving and not getting to see you guys every week anymore honestly breaks my heart every single day. i don’t think you’ll ever fully know how much you’ve impacted my life, and I will always be grateful that God blessed me with you two.

to @tay.doggette and marsha thank you for being the best leaders eve and pouring into us every week. every conversation in small group no matter the tears and laughter i loved it all. you guys are my best friends. the way you guys have invested into us means a lot. you guys reflect Jesus so much and have encouraged me everyday to be more like Him.

to my friends and seniors. ive never felt closer to a group of people than yall. thank you for growing with me and all being there though every moment. we truly made the best memories. somewhere between all the retreats (including the senior one ofc), wednesday nights, cookout and waffle house trips, you became my best friends. no matter if we were playing uno, spoons, or other of are favorite games, crying, laughing you’ve all became my friends and i love each and every one of you.

its hard to believe this chapter is over but i know God has amazing plans for everyone. i love and miss @pursuit.students more than I can put into words 🤍 by @emmasedelbauer
