Very excited to announce a queer interdisciplinary artist residency at Wild Altar this fall! Details below and photos above depicting works in progress about the yard to get your juices flowing! (Bowstaff photo by the lovely @7avk7 )

Inspired by our own explorations of quilting, weaving, felting, and fragmentary writing – patchwork pursuits that play with time, touch, and togetherness – we invite a small cohort of artists to stitch alongside one another in the mediums of their choice.

This facilitated residency will take place Oct 8-12, 2026, at Wild Altar Farmstead in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, with a cohort of six to ten residents. It will be loosely programmed, with ample time for personal practice and explorations. Each day will include gentle prompts, craft and skill shares, and communal meals. Participation in the residency cohort is a sliding scale of $150 - $400 for meals and housing. Two no-cost spots are also available, with more potentially opening depending on fundraising and sliding scale contributions.

Learn more about the residency and apply by Sept 14th at the link in bio! by @emmasinger

SOME OF THE BEST TO EVER DO IT!!!!!

Tomorrow (Thursday, June 4 @8pm) is the last day to see @ppawspuppetry and @deliadelianyc in Domino Park.

You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You’ll squeal with delight (probably). As always I am honored beyond words to get to be a part of the magic that is That Paradise Place! It’s the result of so much love, sweat, and creativity and has been in the works for years. Some of these puppets have been waiting patiently in a storage unit since 2024!!!!!!!! Everyone is so hot and talented?!?!?! 🥹🥹🥹

The official pitch is below but COME COME CUM!!!!!

That Paradise Place is a true labor of love, the creation of over 60 artists with and without disabilities made over the course of five years. The musical spectacular explores the love, sex, and fantasy lives of disabled artists. Intimate and extraordinary tales are brought to life through giant, handmade puppets and spirited performances, all created by a sprawling neurodiverse team. by @emmasinger

The quilts will be incredible, the vibes hopefully immaculate, and the company, lots of sweeties. I will probably be there all day! I love the Guild. amen by @emmasinger

I AM YOUR HEMORRHOID !!!!

I turned 30, got my first hemorrhoid, and then took to the stage to work through it at the Fuzzy Palace Puppet Slam! 😈 in February! what is time…

I am forever grateful to @mr_kywhy, @mu_cube, @zahra.budhwani for organizing such a special slam! And to my fellow performers @ivy.ej, @planetarygoth, @sinasapit, @masc.ari !! My act also wouldn’t have worked without the many generous audience members willing to share about their own bodies, swollen blood vessels, and fissures. Thank you for making it all a little less lonely !!
