There’s a new Pilates Instructor on the block 😜

Hey, I’m Emma 🌞 I’ve been practicing Pilates as my main source of exercise for the past 4 years. At the top of the year, after some soul searching (aka 3 months backpacking Asia) I decided to pursue teaching. I’ve always been a lover of movement and have explored various methods of expression throughout the years, so I’m not at all surprised to have landed here. But that doesn’t take away from the excitement I feel in welcoming this new era!

I currently teach Reformer & Mat Pilates as I continue completing my comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. More news to come soon! 💛

Not to be dramatic, but this workshop could change your life 👀

I saw the biggest physical changes when I switched my primary workout to Pilates years ago. Not because it’s some magic fix, but because it helped me correct my form in everything else that I was doing. It made me slow down and find real control. Drama aside, Pilates really does have the ability to have a massive positive impact on your life, physically & mentally.

We’re getting together October 13 for a night of connecting, growing, and Pilates. I know what Pilates has done for me, and if I can give that to even one other person, I will be a very happy camper!

The mats are set, bevies are poured, playlist is curated, walls are decorated, and the room is saged. All we’re waiting for is YOU 🫵

I’ve been cooking up this baby for the past few weeks & I’m so excited to finally set her loose into the world! ✨

Acatenango + Fuego + Summit = The hardest thing I’ve ever done 🌋

From accidentally skipping breakfast, to hiking several hours (8 miles) of steep incline (up to 13,044 ft elevation) with 10-15lbs on our backs, to freezing tempts, and a busted knee. This hike challenged me in every way and I’m forever changed.

Walking away with a new sense of love, appreciation, and wonder for the body and mind that got me through this. As well as pride in my sisters who accomplished this beside me. I never doubted us (and never will) 🔒💛 #atourownpace taken in Volcán Acatenango by @emmathelight
