Thank you for all the prayers, please keep them coming.
Home and resting! They said I had Stage 1 endometriosis and they removed it, leaving me with some pretty little scars on my pelvis and Belly button🙄. I also had a cyst removed. They diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystitis, basically my bladder mimics UTI symptoms constantly and is very inflamed. I have to go once a week for 8 weeks to have a stint in and some medicine put in my bladder to help heal my bladder. But I also have to cut out everything acidic, which is going to be hard for this Dr Pepper loving gal. Also struggling with the multiple dr appts to come because I just accepted a phenomenal job offer that I’ve been working my butt off to get, and unfortunately it doesn’t look like things are going to work out as smoothly for me now. Just please pray for God’s guidance for that situation as well as in my healing process. ❤️If anyone has experience with this pls reach out to me! It’s been a hell of a year. From Jan 2022, pretending to be happy and putting on a smile every single day to keep on going, to Dec 2022…where I’m finally focusing on who I am and what makes ME happy. This has probably been the most trying year of my life. Anyone that knows me knows that I have what seems to be the WORST luck…it’s become a personality trait by now…but I try to make the best of it. Here’s to all the girls, or even guys, that put everything into something that’s doing nothing for you but bringing you down…you HAVE to put yourself first sometimes. Find out who you are, what makes you happy, and what you want in life. It can only get better. You don’t have to put everyone before yourself in order to be a good person. In fact, you can’t help someone if you don’t help yourself first. If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that PEOPLE. WILL. TALK. They have nothing better to do. It’s up to you how you respond. Let them speak on what they want to speak on, you know the truth and that’s all that matters. Find who you are and BE HAPPPY WITH YOURSELF. All else will fall into place. Here’s to another year full of self care and trusting God to lead where he intends for you to go. ❤️❤️ by @emmathomp27
