Up until (and beyond) my next release (??), I’ll be posting about people who somewhat expanded the country of our minds and consciousness, and all the annoying things the EU intelligentsia did.

On my 9th birthday, Liliana, my mum’s second cousin, gifted me ‘Italian Folk Tales’, and I was hooked. I devoured that book and shattered its pages through reading and rereading it. On that same birthday, my dad, who was back from Nigeria for a visit, gifted me a mangia-dischi, and I could finally play all those ’60s 45s that had belonged to my uncle and that I had found in my grandfather’s garage, gathering dust and memories.

Us artists might be struggling a great deal at present, but this kind of treasure knows no bounds.
