Unfortunately, my time as a puppy raiser with @canineorg has come to an unexpected end, after we determined that a college environment just wasn’t suitable for sweet Grace. While I am upset that my time with her has been cut short, I am hopeful that this adjustment will be everything she needs to succeed in her journey to becoming a working service dog. When I picked up 5 month old Grace last June, I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. This sweet pup barked all night, would not listen, and had me in tears almost daily, but quickly showed me how smart and eager to please she is. While puppy raising had me question my sanity at times, I have learned so much about dogs, myself, and oh so much patience. I am forever grateful for the opportunities Grace and I have had, all the friends we’ve made, and the incredible community we’ve found in @collar_scholars_boulder. Grace, Gracie Girl, G money, Gwabes, never stop being your goofy, loving, self. I love you always sweet girl, go do great things 🖤 taken in Boulder, Colorado by @emmawooters
