POSTS STORIES REELS
‘Don’t Call Me Baby’ is here 🐆💋 This song started as a list of icks that I wrote in my phone about an ex - one that I would refer to whenever I was feeling like I might call him. John and John helped me turn that list into a catchy pop banger. Grace came in and we laughed all day and made it even sassier (you may hear us scream “fucking dude!” in the hook). Florian did his sexy drum beat, Dean mixed it to perfection, and Idania topped it all off with a beautiful master. Thank you Sana for helping me build the visual world. Gabriella for being there at every single shoot since 2017. Tyler for coming in and lending us your beauty. Orbit House for amazing shoot location. Kimberly for bringing your eye and vibes to the shoot. David for being holding the lights, screaming out the ad libs, always being there for everything important. And Superglue Records for supporting me. Lauren for the daily phone calls and inspiration. Norina for being on top of my shit ! Kacy for answering a constant stream of texts. I’m so proud of this song and everything surrounding it. Happy listening ! 🐆🐆🐆💋 by @emmazander
The new era begins! ‘Thank You (For Breaking My Heart)’ is out now ♡ the very first single off of my debut LP!!! Feeling such gratitude for all of the incredible musicians who worked on this record. The Johns, @thejohnjfox & @thisisntjohnv, for challenging me to dig deeper with my songwriting, and John V for your beautiful production. @galmusette who added her dreamy piano, which literally transformed the whole song. @floriangouello who absolutely slayed the drums, as usual. @deansatoshireid who went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final product. And lastly, @idaniava, the mastering queen !!! This song baby wouldn’t exist without you guys. I want to say a special thank you to @ellavos & the team at @supergluerecords: @kacyhill, @norinavc, @scarlettmcdonald 💕 your support means everything to me!! thank you @lacef4iry for coming up with the most genius edits and dealing with me moving the release date 600 times lol. thank you @notcorycory for always supporting me and my career. And lastly, thank you to my ex for inspiring this song !!! I’m counting my lucky stars 💕💕 sometimes rejection is truly redirection …. by @emmazander
Just in time for witchy season… ‘Ghost Song’ is here 🕯️✨🌙 This song is an ode to the divine feminine. The mystical force that guides us all, if we’re open to receiving her energy and grace. Floating somewhere between lullaby and séance, ‘Ghost Song’ is about embracing both our shadows and our light — finding the magic in every moment, and trusting that the path is being laid out for us, even if we can’t quite see it yet… Thank you to the beautiful crew who made this song happen. @galmusette for your writing, your vocals, your beautiful flourishes. @thisisntjohnv for bringing this whole album to life with such thought and intention. @deansatoshireid for balancing it all with a stunning mix. @idaniava for your gorgeous master. Creating the visual world was also such a dream. Thank you @ane.krutova for creating this set. @iamgabriellamancha for being my forever glam girl and sister. @danielleernst for capturing the cover so beautifully. @jac.cheairs for creating such stunning lighting and capturing the motion. @b3zs_compound for letting us transform your magical space. @David.frankk for being there every minute, from set up to breakdown. @ellavos for bringing your taste and fabric and amazing vibes. Thank you to the team at @supergluerecords for all of your help on this release. Thank you @norinavc for nailing all of the important details. by @emmazander
