Yes an Associate 👨‍🎓, but this one definitely hits different for me. My college journey over the last three years hasn’t been easy. During my first year, I lost my dad—and that was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. It was something I just couldn’t accept. 😭 Because of that, I had to cut back and take fewer classes for two semesters while also struggling to pass certain courses, some of which I had to retake. That’s why it took me an extra year to finish. But I say this to remind myself and others that I’m proud I stuck with it and finished. Every day, I would pray and ask God, “When will I finally leave CCRI? I want my Bachelor’s now.” But with God’s help and grace, I’m here—graduating a year later. I know it’s a small step, but it’s still an accomplishment. If @courage2g7 were here, I know he would be so proud—because to him, the little moments always mattered. by @emmelmentor67

Hello world , so I wrote this song back in November called “never be me “ while facing so much depression and anxiety and going through my tough days .. but then I had to realize who I was, and ask myself don’t you know that you are Thee Emmel Elisha Mentor ? Don’t you know that your a royal priest hood set aside/ apart ? And came up with the melody for the chorus and Started writing my verses ! Now yall will be hearing the full installment of this song sometime this year because what’s a great song without beautiful mixing and great master behind it right ? The life you lived truly spoke for itself today, Loveta. You were a light that shined so brightly among us all. Loveta, for the last 48 hours, all I’ve been able to think about is you. I still can’t even fathom this you broke my heart 💔. My mind keeps going back to our Central High School days. We had so much fun; we were just kids. Favorite, why did you have to go? You never failed to tell me you loved me every time you saw me. I’ll miss those random moments when we would talk for an hour, just sharing life and reminiscing about old times. Ugh, life is so unfair. But just know you will always be loved and remembered and we got serenity. Thank you for creating so many memories with us, memories we get to hold onto forever.
