Happy Birthday to me! 🎉🎂
Another year, another opportunity to grow, learn, and become a better version of myself. I’m grateful for life, growth, and everyone who has been part of my journey.

Cheers to a beautiful new chapter. 🥂❤️

Today make it 2 weeks you left this world and am still finding it difficult to believe it.

You gave me my very first opportunity in the film industry.

From being a Production Assistant, to becoming a Camera assistant, and eventually trusting me with my first opportunity as a Director of Photography—all is you. Every major step in my journey came because you believed in me.

I can still remember the countless times you called me to correct me whenever I made mistakes. You never gave up on me. One thing you always said was, “Don’t worry, you’re going to be among the best in Abuja.” Those words gave me more confidence when I doubted myself.

You were more than a boss. You were my mentor, my teacher, and a father figure. And not just to me—you fathered, coached, and inspired so many of us. Your impact lives in every life you touched.

If I were to write everything you’ve done for me, it would fill an entire series of episodes.

Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. Thank you for every correction, every opportunity, every lesson, and every word of encouragement.

You may be gone, but your legacy will never be forgotten. Rest well, sir. Your light will continue to shine through all of us you raised.

So nobody to call dripping daddy again, so I will not hear your voice again nobody to call me EMMI CREW again…

You’ll forever be remembered. 🕊️🕊️🕊️💔💔💔 by @emmizyslim_
