Bound by the flames. Deep within the woodland, where the fire burns and the smoke rises, something ancient begins to stir. A story of darkness, beauty and the unknown. Part of my latest cinematic folk-horror photography series, exploring the uneasy space between gothic beauty and the supernatural. Featuring Meg, captured in the flickering light of a woodland bonfire. The fire was real. The story is yours to imagine. Photography & creative direction: Huw Lloyd | Mourning Light Photography Model: @meganemilymajor Agency @emmjsmodelmanagement Big thank you to @chloe_riley_photography for helping me with these shots. #MourningLightPhotography #FolkHorror #GothicPhotography #DarkPortraiture #CinematicPhotography GothicEditorial DarkFantasyPhotography WitchAesthetic AlternativePhotography ConceptualPortraiture FineArtPortraiture WelshPhotographer by @emmjsmodelmanagement
Street Style – One Last Look Rounding off this impromptu Port Talbot series with Ffion and Caitlin, making the most of those painted pillars, soft light and creeping greenery. Their relaxed styling worked beautifully with the setting, giving us a lovely final set to share from this shoot. What started as a few extra portraits whilst working on a completely different project turned into a series I’ve really enjoyed sharing. A big thank you to all the models for bringing their own character to each set. I’m glad we stopped for these! Models: @ffionspcolwill and @caitlin.modelling represented by @emmjsmodelmanagement Real People. Real Places. Real Emotion. That’s what I aim to capture. #StreetStyle #PortTalbot #UrbanPortraits #PortraitPhotography #SouthWalesPhotographer by @emmjsmodelmanagement

October, told in 20 pics and videos. 📸🍂 Quite a month looking back at it! Somewhere between making Coffi, roasting beans and opening the doors every morning, we’ve squeezed in the BBC Travel Show, Sgwrsio Cymraeg, Sunday run clubs, plenty of familiar faces and the build-up to the Richard Burton 10K. A lot of miles covered, plenty of conversations and some brilliant people along the way. A special diolch to Emma J Models for the photoshoot and capturing some lovely moments at Portablo. 📸 A lot happens in a little Coffi shop over 31 days. These 20 photos only tell half of it. Diolch yn fawr pawb! ❤️ #PortabloCoffi #RunPortablo #PortTalbot #octoberrecap by @emmjsmodelmanagement
