For #BlackHistoryMonth I am truly grateful to highlight my family! It was a blessing celebrating our beautiful original O.G of the James Family “Mama Helen” at this year’s Kenner City MLK parade; may she continue resting. It was a blessing celebrating and being reminded how much “Helen’s Grocery Store” was the First Black Grocery Store in south Kenner. As black history month is wrapping up we will always celebrate the legacy you left through our lives b/c you truly created generations of entrepreneurs in your family and in your community!
